Kwaku Agyemang - Co-Founder | Toronto Tastemakers
Kwaku Agyemang is a full-time Media Production student at Ryerson University, with a focus in radio and television production. Currently employed at The Students Commission at Canada, Kwaku has always possessed the ability to connect with youth and have an eye for what’s popular now, and why? Interning and collaborating with many brands and corporations, he has been afforded the privilege to be in spaces that allowed him to develop strong relationships with decision makers in Toronto’s entertainment industry. He continues to express his passion for the creative industries, through attending various events, mentoring artists and showcasing work of his own. He co-founded Toronto Tastemakers on the basis that artists need to start thinking more business like and market their work. Through this organization he hopes to provide artists with the opportunity to financial sustain themselves through their creations.
Sam Adebisi - Co-Founder | Toronto Tastemakers
Sam Adebisi is a full-time student studying Media Production in his last year at Ryerson University. Sam has always had a devotion for storytelling by ideating and executing his ideas whether through writing, directing, or producing. From starting as an assistant director for many short films and theatre based projects for friends and his church youth group to working as a PA on sets for a variety of Canadian television series that have aired on CBC and Global to now being one of two co-founders of Toronto Tastemakers which is both a promotions and production company he has always been enthused by storytelling. Through his work with Toronto Tastemakers he will continue to help passionate minority creatives through them utilizing his Tastemakers platform to create engaging narratives through the scope of audio, performance, film, and/or television.
